Mrs. Deanna Baker

I am so happy to begin a new school year at Hardy Oak!  This will be my 18th year teaching first grade! Last year was my first year at Hardy Oak and I previously taught first grade for 16 years in NISD. I absolutely love teaching first grade and helping children grow throughout the year.

I graduated from UTSA with a degree in English and obtained a post baccalaureate certificate to teach grades PK-6th.

My husband is a GT teacher in NEISD. We have been married for 15 years and have two beautiful daughters. Lily is 11 and starting middle school this year. Nora is 7 and will be in second grade this year.
