Hello, Hardy Oak Hornets!

    My name is Andrew Roland and I am excited about starting a new school year as the Physical Education Teacher at Hardy Oak Elementary. I am originally from a small town southwest of St. Louis, Missouri. However, for the last 18 years I have lived in San Antonio. I earned a B.S. in Psychology at Missouri State University before moving down to San Antonio where I completed my Teaching Certification at UTSA.  

    During my free time, I enjoy hiking at the state parks, playing Disc Golf, rollerblading, and playing kickball with my friends.  I am also an avid reader, with my favorite genre being science fiction and my favorite author, Stephen King. If he has written it I have probably read it.  

    I am really looking forward to meeting everyone this year and creating a great community at Hardy Oak.
