My name is Homero Peña Jr. your Family Specialist at Thousand Oaks.  My passion to help people reach their maximum potential is what motivates me day after day.  I grew up in a small town where helping others was essential.  My desire to impact people's lives has brought me to North East ISD.  During the past 4.5 years, I have had the privilege of working for the KIN After School Program, first as a Program Site Director and recently in their business office.  I am excited to be able to work directly with students and parents again.  I believe that impacting the community starts by impacting and enriching our student's lives first.  I have an amazing support system at home; my wife Norma and two children, Caleb and Isaac.
