Mrs. Shayna Seeley

This is my 2nd year teaching at at Thousand Oaks! I teach general music Pre-K- 5th grade and 4th & 5th grade choir. Last year, I moved to San Antonio from Pennsylvania, where I lived all of my life. In a matter of days, my husband, Zach, and I got married, packed up our things, and drove all the way down here! We enjoy getting to know the area better & finding our favorite spots. It is just us and our two cats, Aura and Jade at home. In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga, reading, and spending time with my little family.

I am a 2023 graduate of Moravian University where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Music Education. During the summer after my junior year, I completed my Level 1 of Kodaly Training at Midwestern State University (which is how I fell in love with the state of Texas!). I plan to complete my Kodaly training within the next few years. The Kodaly method is a student-centered way of teaching music through the experience of singing. 

I am very excited for year 2 - let's go Bolts!!
