Mrs. Shayna Seeley

This is my first year of teaching! I will be teaching general music at each grade level and 5th grade choir.

I recently moved to San Antonio from Pennsylvania, where I lived all of my life. My husband and I got married, packed up our things, and drove all the way down here! We love exploring the area and finding great spots to eat at.

I am a 2023 graduate of Moravian University where I obtained my Bachelors in Music Education. During the summer after my junior year, I completed my Level 1 of Kodaly Training at Midwestern State University (which is how I fell in love with the state of Texas!). I plan to complete my Kodaly training within the next few years. The Kodaly method is a student centered way of teaching music through the experience of singing.

I have quite a big family- 2 sisters, 1 half sister, and 4 half brothers. Some of my favorite hobbies include going to the gym, reading, and of course, singing! 

I am very excited for this upcoming year of fun music making- let's go Bolts!!
