My name is Jillian Cox and I am so excited to be a part of the Thousand Oaks Elementary family, teaching Fourth Grade.  I am a San Antonio native and I grew up attending NEISD schools; Encino Park Elementary, Driscoll Middle School, and Churchill High School. I attended Texas Lutheran University, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Abnormal Psychology. Shortly after graduation, I realized that being a teacher was what I truly wanted to do, so I enrolled at UTSA where I received my teacher’s certification in Elementary Education.

In my spare time, I enjoy working with horses, reading, relaxing, cooking/baking, the outdoors, and spending time with my family and friends.

This is my 14th year teaching at Thousand Oak and I am looking forward to all this school year has to offer; it is going to be a wonderful year!!
