A little about me...I have lived in San Antonio most of my life. However, my husband was in the Army and so we did travel in the states.  I also have a wonderful son who keeps me extremely busy when I'm not at work.  I love basketball, especially going to Spurs games.  Go Spurs Go!  In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and going to the movies.  

As a child, I had such wonderful experiences in education.  So much so, that I knew from the moment in first grade when my teacher encouraged my love for reading, that teaching was my mission.  I attended schools in North East and graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School.  In December of 2006, I received my degree in Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

My first years of teaching experience were at East Terrell Hills Elementary working with 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students.  I then joined the Fox Run family in 2014 where I taught 3rd and 4th.  My adventures now put me at Longs Creek Elementary.  I love being a Cowboy!

I believe that children learn best working collaboratively with their peers as they explore the wonders and challenges of new learning. I look forward to the upcoming school year and am excited for the opportunity to guide and support your child through their learning.
