Welcome to a year full of excitement!

What a lucky person I am to have so many years of experience in teaching under my belt. I've taught 7th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, Kindergarten and student taught in 1st.

I AM A LIFELONG LEARNER!!!!!!

This is my 10th year as a Gifted and Talented teacher and I truly am beyond blessed to be working here at "The Wilderness".  I have so many exciting and challenging lessons in store for my students and I can't wait to share them together.

I was born and raised in Woodbury, New Jersey (close to Philadelphia) and I moved to Texas 39 years ago.

I am blessed to have 2 daughters and 2 sons. Our oldest daughter, Taylor, graduated from UT -"Hook Em'" and has completed graduate school, our other daughter Morgan graduated from Baylor-- "Sic Em' Bears", our son Colin graduated from the University of Colorado - "Go Buffs" and our youngest child, Hunter,  graduated from  A&M- "Gig 'em".

Can you tell we value education?

I have been married to John, my high school sweetheart, for 40 years. 

I LOVE teaching because I feel like I can make a difference in each student who I am so very blessed to have in my room.

In my free time I like to read, travel, tend to my many gardens, but most importantly, I love to spend quality time with my family, especially my four grandbabies! 

My one motto in life is:
