Ms. Andrea Wiatrek

My name is Ms. Wiatrek, and I am a Pre-K  teacher at Wilderness Oak Elementary.  This is my 22nd year teaching. I love learning and watching kids grow!  I grew up in Austin and San Antonio.  I received my Bachelor of Science at the University of Houston with a minor in Spanish.  I am certified in Early Childhood.  I also am ESL certified.

In my free time you will find me with my Maltipoo, Fendi, and my daughter, Brooke.  We love to go skating, horseback riding, and traveling.  I kickbox to make sure I am focused and ready for all the excitement that school brings.  Fortunately, my family is here, so we can spend quality time together relaxing or having a nice family barbeque.

My goal at Wilderness is teaching your child social, emotional and executive functional skills while obtaining a rock solid preparation for kindergarten.  I hope to work hand in hand with you in making a commitment to ensuring your child reaches their full academic potential.  I hope to be a source of encouragement and support as we work through this exciting time in their development.  Together we will make a difference in your child's life.
