Mrs. Pederson
My name is Mrs. Pederson and I am excited to work with teachers and students at Jackson Keller as the Science Instructional Coach! This will be my first year back at Jackson Keller, but my twenty-seventh year in education, all in Northeast ISD. Most of my time has been spent teaching science in fifth grade; however, I have taught pre-k, kinder, and third grade. I absolutely LOVE science, and look forward to working along side students and teachers to reach their maximum potential.
I was born and raised right here in San Antonio, TX. After graduating from Madison High School, I attended Southwest Texas State University where I received a degree in elementary education. My husband and I have two beautiful girls… Paige, who attends Texas Tech, and Reese, who is a junior at Johnson HS. In my free time, I love working in the yard, camping, shopping, and watching high school football!
I look forward to an AWESOME year as a Jackrabbit. My goal for all students is to continue to grow as life-long learners; having a positive outlook on life and education.
I can’t wait to begin learning and growing with you!
Mrs. Pederson

North East ISD School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) Volunteer Application
Each school district in the state is required to establish and maintain a district-level school health advisory council. State law requires the majority of SHAC members to be parents (of students enrolled in NEISD schools) who are not employees of NEISD.
