  • Churchill 2022-2023 Course Selection Timeline 


    Jan 24  (6:00 - 8:00 pm) - In-Person Churchill Course Fair
    This will be a helpful event for students and parents to explore all the awesome elective and extracurricular options at Churchill High School. A Dual Credit & AP parent meeting will be held at 6:00 pm in the auditorium. Take a look at our Virtual Course Fair in case you are unable to attend in person. 


    January 19 – February 1 - Advisory & Planning

    Counselors will advise students on course selection for next year.  Elective and academic teachers will promote courses for next year. Students are encouraged to use the four-year planning tool to ensure they incorporate all graduation requirements over the four years of high school. Current students are encouraged to review their transcripts that can be viewed in the portfolio tab in Skyward Student Access. For a helpful guide on required courses use the Foundation High School Program.


    January 24 - Febuary 18 - Students enter course selections in Skyward

    All students will receive course cards and handouts to help with course selections. (See Directions to Enter Courses in Skyward.)  Skyward opens for students to enter course selections using Skyward Student Access on January 24. The deadline for students to enter and/or make changes to course selections in Skyward is February 18.  After February 18, changes will need to be submitted to the students’ counselor.

    Endorsements and Programs of Study:

    Endorsements consist of a related series of courses that are grouped together by interest or skill set. Students must select an endorsement in the ninth grade. Visit your school counselor to learn more about your options. Students may earn more than one endorsement.


    WC Endorsements and Programs of Study provides courses available at Churchill for the 5 Endorsements and their specific pathways/programs of study.

    NEISD Endorsement Guide visually organizes the endorsements and pathways offered within each NEISD high school.

    WC Career/Tech Elective Choices organizes the career and technical electives offered at Churchill.
