Churchill 2021-2022 Course Selection Timeline
January 25- Churchill Virtual Course Fair
This will be a helpful resource for students and parents to explore all the awesome elective and extracurricular options at Churchill High School and have an opportunity to submit questions.
January 25 – January 29 - Advisory & Planning
Teachers will advise students on course selection for next year. Elective teachers will promote courses for next year and encourage students to take the time to explore the Churchill Virtual Course Fair. Students are encouraged to use the four-year planning tool to ensure they incorporate all graduation requirements over the four years of high school. Current students are encouraged to review their transcripts that can be viewed in the portfolio tab in Skyward Student Access.
February 1 – February 5 - Enters course selections
Course selection will start on February 1st with a special video from the counseling office to be shown during the Advisory periods. All 9th, 10th and 11th grade students will receive course cards and handouts to help with course selections. (See Directions to Enter Courses in Skyward.) Skyward opens for students to enter course selections on January 29th thru Skyward Student Access. The deadline for students to enter and/or make changes to course selections in Skyward is Friday, February 12, 2021. After February 12, changes will need to be submitted to the students’ counselor.
February 1-5 - Meet with Counselors
Counselors will host open Zoom time during advisory February 1 – 5 to answer individual student questions. Students are also encouraged to reach out to counselors for individual appointments, if needed.

Endorsements and Programs of Study:
Endorsements consist of a related series of courses that are grouped together by interest or skill set. Students must select an endorsement in the ninth grade. Visit your school counselor to learn more about your options. Students may earn more than one endorsement.
WC Endorsements and Programs of Study provides courses available at Churchill for the 5 Endorsements and their specific pathways/programs of study.
NEISD Endorsement Guide visually organizes the endorsements and pathways offered within each NEISD high school.
WC Career/Tech Elective Choices organizes the career and technical electives offered at Churchill.
This course catalog is designed to help you select the courses you will take in the 2021-2022 school year. Keep in mind that Churchill may not offer every class listed in the course catalog. Please refer to our course cards for a complete list of courses offered at Churchill.
