Hello, my name is Kimberly McSweeney and I am very excited to be your child's Second Grade teacher!  I have been teaching for over 20 years and most of those years have been with Northeast ISD.  It is exciting to be a part of such a wonderful district and school. Steubing Ranch is my home away from home.

     When I am not at work, I can be found spending time with my husband, Will and my son, Isaac.  We enjoy swimming, riding bikes, sailing, water activites and some running. We cheer on the Boston Red Sox and the UT Longhorns and we cheer pretty loudly!  I love the New England states. My husband is from Vermont, so we travel there each summer to visit family, the beaches of the East Coast, and go sailing. I would love to own my own sailboat, but that is mostly a dream!

     This summer was a great time to refresh, but it is time to get back to work!  I always find it so exciting to return, decorate my classroom, and have everything ready to meet my new group of students.  I just know that whatever this year brings us, it is going to be a fabulous and successful one indeed! Please know that I am here for any questions that you may have in helping your child have a meaningful year in Second Grade!
