Hello! Welcome to our class. I am pleased to be part of the Royal Ridge family and am looking forward to this school year. I was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, where I still visit my family and friends. I attended the University of Texas at Brownsville and obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English and a minor in Biology in 1998. My career started 24 years ago. I began teaching 4th Grade Grammar/Writing at R.L. Martin Elementary School in 2000. In 2002, I moved to San Antonio and have been teaching at Royal Ridge since it opened. I have 21 years of experience teaching 4th grade and I have looped with my class to 5th grade twice.

This year will I will be looping once again to 5th grade. This is such a wonderful experience and I am looking forward to making new memories with my students and their families. My hobbies include reading, scrapbooking and spending time with my family and friends both far and near. I hope to keep you posted on the latest and greatest as much as possible on Class Dojo.
