Hello! My name is Ayla Hosty and I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade at Regency Elementary again this year. This will be my 10th year teaching. I have taught Pre-K through 4th grade, but my heart is in 2nd grade.  

I was born and raised here in San Antonio and I am proud to say that I am a product of NEISD and a graduate of MacArthur, Go Brahmas! I hold my Bachelors degree in Interdiciplinary Studies from Texas State University as well as certifications in English as a Second Language and Gifted and Talented. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, being outside, and spending time with my family. I have been married to my wonderful husband, John, for 8 years and we have 2 wonderful children. Creighton is 6 and is here at Regency Place with me and Harper is 3. 

I am looking forward to a fabulous year and working with you to instill a love of learning in your child. I cannot wait to meet you!
