Hello!  My name Mrs. Cruz and I am so excited to join Las Lomas family. We are going to have a lot of fun learning together this year! ECSE/Pre-K is filled with lots of exciting growth and discovery. I look forward to collaborating with you and learning all about you, but first here are a few things about me.

I grew up in a small town near Big Bend National Park. I graduated from Angelo State University. This year I will be going into my 22nd year of teaching and my 2nd year at Las Lomas Elementary.  I’ve taught multiple grade levels, both in general education and special education.  I love books and science experiments. We are going to have fun reading and discovering the world in our classroom. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and furbaby, Ladybug. 

I’m thrilled to be your teacher and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us!  My goal is to guide your child to academic success and prepare them to be long-life learners!
