Reagan senior earns rare perfect score on AP Exam

Only 52 students in the entire world earned a perfect score on the Advanced Placement (AP) 3-D Art and Design Exam.

Reagan High School senior Ania Valdez is one of them!

"I still can't believe it, honestly," said Ania. "I thought they might have the wrong student! But I was really happy. It made my day and made everything worth it."

AP Exams are scored on a scale of one to five. Ania earned a perfect five and maximized every possible point on the AP 3-D Art and Design Exam.

“We are all so proud of Ania,” said Dr. Charles Reininger, Reagan High School principal. “Her hard work and dedication are paying off in a big way. We can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next.”

Ania took the exam in May as a junior. AP courses and exams are college-level and require extraordinary focus and persistence. Thank you to the incredible teachers who continue to challenge and support our students every step of the way!

Congratulations, Ania, and keep working hard #theNEISDway
