Celebrating Reagan's 2024 Summa Cum Laude Students

North East ISD is proud to celebrate the Summa Cum Laude students Reagan High School. These ceremonies honor the incredible accomplishments of the dedicated students who are graduating from high school with grade point averages above 100. These young men and women mastered every academic test we placed before them and exceeded the highest standards, but they wouldn’t be here without the teachers who inspired them.

Ava Enriquez is one of Reagan’s incredible Summa candidates. Tonight, she will honor chemistry teacher Karly Yzaguirre.

“From guiding me through my leadership role this year to igniting my interest in chemistry, Mrs. Y has been such a positive element in my life these past few years and I am so grateful to have gotten to know such an incredibly dedicated, inspiring teacher and kind-hearted mentor.”

Caleb Nicholls chose to honor band director Tyler Estrada Simon.

“I just wanted to share my thanks and joy in your care and compassion towards others within the band program. It’s so hard to put in few words the opportunities you have given to me and opened up for so many others. Thank you so much, Mr. Estrada Simon, thank you.”

Congratulations to the Class of 2024! Reagan’s Summa celebration will be held the evening of Wednesday, April 17.
