Mr. Sergio Guerrero
My name is Sergio Guerrero, Jr. I have been teaching for 11 wonderful years. I have worked in nearly every grade level and have experience with general education, alternative learning, and Social and Emotional Learning. Currently I am the Redirection Teacher on our beautiful campus and truly enjoy working with your students. In our classroom we focus on social skills, cooperative learning, and character building.
I graduated from Texas A&M University San Antonio in 2010 with a bachelor’s in interdisciplinary studies. Recently I decided to return to TAMUSA for a master’s in applied behavior analysis with aspirations of being a BCBA.
After graduating in 2010, I began servicing children with special needs at a local Charter School. After my first year of teaching, I was hired at NEISD working with our at-risk population. I truly enjoy my job and pride myself of building trust between students, parents, and teachers.
I'm looking forward to the 2022-23 school year and cannot wait to see what our future has in store for us.
If you have any questions, concerns, or simply need ideas for managing behavior; feel free to reach out to me at any time! My school email is sguerr3@neisd.net.
