Welcome to my webpage! Read to learn all about me!
From the time I was 4 years old, I have always aspired to be a teacher. My personal schooling began in Marble Falls, a small town about an hour north on 281. After high school, I attended a smaller school, Blinn College in Bryan, Texas, before transferring to San Antonio. I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelors of Art Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am proud to be starting my 17th year in NEISD, and I am especially honored to be a part of the Ranger family.
When I am not at school, I can usually be found spending time with my husband, Brad Korzekwa (or Mr. K, as my students usually call him), my sweet boys, Luke Bradley Korzekwa, who is in 4th grade, and Matthew James Korzekwa, who is in Kindergarten. They are also Wetmore Rangers! Of course, I cannot forget my dog daughter, Millie, a Shih-tzu, who loves to snuggle and play! I value time with family and friends and also enjoy reading, shopping, gardening, and cooking!
My schedule consists of working in small groups with grades Kindergarten-Fifth to support students in the areas of reading and math. Throughout the day, I see groups in 30 minute increments to review skills that they are learning in their classroom.
