Hello Steubing Ranch Spurs!

My name is Brenda Figueroa and I will be your child's 2nd grade teacher for this year. I was raised in El Paso, Texas but have been calling San Antonio my home since 2003. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in 2010 from Texas A&M SA. 

I started my teaching career in Edgewood ISD at Roy Cisneros Elementary. I taught Kindergarten for 4 years and 1st grade for 3 years. I  came to NEISD two years ago where I taught 2nd grade at Clear Spring Elementary and here at Steubing Ranch. This will be my 10th year teaching. 

I enjoy spending time with my family and attending high school football games where I can watch my husband coach the John Marshall Rams. We have 3 beautiful kids, a 13 year old boy, an 8 year old girl, and a 2 year old boy. 

Im so happy to be a part of the Steubing Ranch family and look forward to an exciting and successful school year!
