I spent ten years in the U.S. Navy as a Firecontrollman, where I traveled the world working on various weapon systems and trained sailors to use firearms. 

I am proud this is my 7th year of teaching at the North East Alternative Center and I teach Mathematics to 7th and 8th Graders. 

Besides my 10 years in the Navy, I worked as a regional sales manager and then as a national account manager. 

Why become a teacher you might ask – I want to create a positive legacy where I could help kids learn to develop ways to create their own legacies. 

I am a passionate rugby coach, have been coaching various teams for about 10 years, and hosted the US National, Canadian National, Chilean National, Portuguese National, and Brazilian National Rugby Teams. 

I graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science Degree in Dec 2008 and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Texas A&M San Antonio.
