I spent ten years in the U.S. Navy as a Firecontrolman where I traveled the world working on various weapon systems and trained sailors to use firearms. 

I am proud this is my 7th Year as a teacher at the North East Alternative Center and I teach Mathematics to 6th, 7th and 8th Graders. 

Besides my 10 years in the Navy I worked as a regional sales manager and then as a national account manager. 

Why become a teacher you might ask – I want to create a positive legacy where I could help kids learn to develop ways to create their own legacies.
