About Us

  • The North East Alternative Center (NEAC) is a 6-12th grade program designed to provide an alternative learning environment for students who have been assigned to a DAP/DAEP educational setting. On an annual basis at the NEAC, we support over 1,000 students coming from every middle and high school campus and program within the district. The goal of the NEAC is to educate and help the students we serve develop and improve the skills needed to return to their home school successfully. The role of the NEAC is to support students with social, emotional, and behavioral development as well as providing access to high quality instruction and learning opportunities.
