The 2023-2024 school year will be my twenty-fourth year teaching!!! WOW! I still feel like a kid myself and enjoy spending each day surrounded by them. My teaching experience includes four years in second grade, seven years in fifth grade, and now eight years in third grade. I am a proud native San Antonian, NEISD graduate, and UTSA Roadrunner. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies for grades 1-8. I also have certificates to teach ESL and GT students. 

When I am not at school, I make memories with my awesome family. My three children are the love of my life and inspire me to be the best teacher I can be. I want them to be in a loving classroom where the teacher appreciates how wonderful they are, so I strive to do the same for my students.  I love my goldendoodle retriever, Pepper, who keeps me busy doing her favorite things...going on walks, getting puppy lattes from Starbucks and giving lots of pats & praise.  

I am blessed to have a beautiful family at home and at school. Wilderness Oak is a great place to be!
