Hello! I am the Readi Teacher for ECSE at Oak Meadow Elementary.  This is officially my 14th year teaching full time though I have been in the education field for many years.  I'm originally from Houston and taught for six years in the Houston area in the 1990's.   I was a stay at home, then we moved to San Antonio in 2004. I have taught religious education classes for my church for over 30 years and have always done lots of outside volunteer work. 

I subbed for NEISD for 7 years and now I have been  full time in NEISD since 2015. . I have three children. My son  graduated from Texas A&M , Galveston Campus, my older daughter is working  and my youngest is a student at UTSA.  All three of my children attended NEISD schools-Redland Oaks, Driscoll and Mac.  And all three participated in the MacArthur Band-The big blue marching machine! Go Brahmas! My husband, Michael, works at CPS Energy and we have been married for 30 years. We have a new grandson that was born in July.  

I LOVE working with students who need extra help. My own children have either a  learning disability, dyslexia, ADHD or all three!  Both of my daughters have been in the special education program at NEISD and have thrived.  I'm proud to be at Oak Meadow and I look forward to helping all of the students succeed.
