I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas.  My career with NEISD started long before I was in the teacher role.  I grew up in the Northeast side of town and attended Camelot Elementary, Ed White Middle School, and Theodore Roosevelt High School.  I then continued my education at Texas A&M University--WHOOOOP!   I have been in education for over 20 years, and every year I am always amazed by how much I learn from the children I teach.  I consider it an honor and a privilege to learn and grow along with them.
My husband and I have known each other since middle school and we have been married for over 23 years.  We have been blessed with two wonderful boys who both attend Texas A&M.  While raising them, I have acquired an additonal perspective--a parent's perspective.  I see and understand both sides of the perspective coin.  I understand all of the anxiety, hope, fear, and love that you have for your child.  We have experienced different challenges and achievements along the way.

This past 2019-2020 school year ended in a way that none of us could have imagined.  We had to adjust very quickly and often.  I know that open and honest communication along with compassion was one of the key components for learning to continue.  No matter what the 2020-2021 school year may bring I look forward to working with you and your child.
