Bachelor's Degree - Iowa State University - Early Childhood Education/Special Education

Mrs. Sarah Ford

I have been teaching special education for 20 years. I began my teaching career in Houston, TX. I taught K-4 special education for Carter Academy in Aldine ISD. After 3 years, I moved to New Braunfels, TX and began teaching for NEISD in San Antonio, TX. This is my 18th year teaching special education at Oak Meadow Elementary. I have always wanted to be a teacher and am so blessed to be able to do something I love! I live in New Braunfels with my husband and 3 kids. My oldest daughter, Rylie, is 14 years old and is a freshman this year. My son, Jackson, is 12 years old and in 6th grade. My youngest, Piper, is 10 and in 4th grade. We also have 2 dogs, Ringo and Penny Lane, and a sulcata tortoise named Harry. We are BIG Cubs fans and enjoy watching baseball. My hobbies include photography, spending time with my family, and reading/relaxing.
