Mrs. Ana Flores

Hello! Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I am the new ECSE Deaf and Hard of Hearing teacher at Oak Meadow Elementary.  I am a first year teacher excited to embark in this new career path. I graduated from Texas A&M International University in 2016 with a Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I obtained my Master's degree in Deaf Education and Hearing Science from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in May 2024. I completed my student teaching at Sunshine Cottage School for Deaf Children and at NEISD as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Itinerant teacher. 

I am originally from Laredo, Tx and have been living in San Antonio for 4 years. I have been working as a bilingual speech language pathologist assistant for 7 years prior to changing career paths. I have experience working in the home health, school, and private clinic setting with children with special needs. My goal for my classroom is to teach my students the love of learning!
