I grew up in San Antonio, and am a product of North East ISD schools! I attended MacArthur High School and was involved in Theatre Arts, Student Council, and Dance. After high school I attended Stephen F. Austin State University, out in the piney woods of Nacogdoches. It is a beautiful campus with the tall pine trees, tulips, and azaleas growing everywhere. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (Education Degree for short!). What a thrill to then get a job in North East ISD where I grew up. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 14 years in the district, and Wilderness Oak is such a special school! I love the community and kids here! I enjoy watching my students grow into writers, readers, scientists and mathematicians. Everyday holds a new opportunity to learn something new and exciting!
