Welcome to Third Grade! 

My name is Kirsten Yanez. This is my eighth year teaching, third year here at BCE! I've taught Pre-k, 2nd, and 4th! 

I'm a proud product of North East ISD, from Longs Creek Elementary to Harris Middle School, then graduated from James Madison High school in 2013. Go Mavs! I received my Bachelors degree in Education from UTSA in 2017. Go 'Runners!

I married my high school sweetheart in 2019, and we have two-year-old, Vincent, and a sweet newborn, Mateo! We have 2 Pitbulls, Hazel and Izzy. I love the color teal and giraffes are my favorite animal! 

I am super excited about being your Third Grade teacher this year! I believe the brain at a young age is a sponge and I would love to fill it with so much knowledge! This is going to be such a great year!
