Howdy! Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!  This is my 1st year at Bulverde Creek as a Special Education Resource teacher and my 8th with NEISD. Originally from Winston-Salem, NC, I received my B.A. from the University of North Carolina  and earned my M.A.Teaching, Elem. Education from Western Governors University- Texas in 2015. Prior to moving to Texas, I was an active Air Force wife who was blessed to serve in a lot of fun "jobs"! I have been an Air Force Key Spouse, Girl Scout leader, English teacher in Japanese preschools, a DODs substitute teacher, horseback riding instructor, and CCI puppy raiser during my husband's 28-year Air Force career. I absolutely love animals and being outdoors! Whenever I have free time, I am outside gardening, reading, or swimming. 

I am thrilled to continue teaching as a member of this amazing Texans community. I hope to see you this year! :)
