I have been teaching elementary and middle school PE since 1998. Most of my career was spent in Broward county Florida; I moved to Texas in 2020 with my family. I also coached football and baseball at the middle school level for several years. This is my  yea4th year teaching PE  at Bulverde Creek elementary.

I was born in Panama and moved to Miami Beach as a teenager and graduate from Miami Beach Senior High School. I attended THE Florida State University where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sports Management. I am fluent in Spanish.  

I have been married to my wife Cory, who is the principal at Alamo Heights High School, for 25 years, and we have two sons, David (20) and Cole (14). David Jr. will be attending the San Antonio Fire Academy this fall and Cole will be a freshman at Alamo Heights High School.
