Welcome to Mrs. Kormanik's Pre-K class, where we will stretch our minds, take risks, grow into awesome leaders together as a school family. 

 Here is a little about me...I am a product of NEISD. I graduated from Madison High School and then attended Texas Tech University where I earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in E-Business. This will be my 7th year of teaching. I love working with my pre-k's to empower them to lead, create, innovate, find their gifts, passions, and have a love for learning.

 I am blessed to be a mommy to two fun-loving crazy boys who are 15 (sophmore at MacArthur) and 8 (3rf grader here at BCE). I married my high school sweetheart and we have been together for 33 years and this year will be 21 years of marriage for us. As a family we love adventures of all kinds, whether it's planned or spontaneous, traveling, playing sports, cooking and spending time outdoors. I see my classroom as an extension of my home, a safe place, filled with joy, laughter, acceptance, creativity, understanding, learning, fearlessness, diversity, problem-solving, thinking, tenacity, and love.

 I am a very positive individual and will hope to instill this same positive attitude in your child as well as other important traits such as responsibility, respect, good choices, and consequences. All students will be expected to work hard and make good choices towards their academics and behavior. We can learn a whole lot if all students maintain positive attitudes and respect one another.
