    Serving Grades Pre-K through 5

Wilshire Elementary School is a Title I school that's been proudly educating students for 60 years. We are focused on building a positive school community, developing a curriculum with coherence, and creating a safe and nurturing climate for learning while instilling virtues to develop character. The way our teachers and parents work together for our students creates a fun and safe learning environment. Our teachers value their relationships with students and their parents. We are a proud Leader In Me School that teaches our students the seven habits of highly effective people. This gives them confidence, independence, and self-reliance. Our students understand they can’t control everything, so we empower them to change and control what they can.

  • Our Cluster

Welcome to the Roosevelt Cluster in the North East Independent School District. As a Wilshire Elementary School student, your child will establish a passion, curiosity, and foundation for life-long learning while nurturing their social and emotional skills. Outside of the classroom, your child can embrace what they love or try something new through diverse clubs, programs and organizations.

Your child will discover even more opportunities at Ed White and Krueger Middle School. As their academic foundation expands in the classroom, their circle of friends and experiences will grow through new opportunities in Athletics, Fine Arts, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, competitive UIL contests, and more. Ed White is home to the Design and Technology Academy (DATA) – a magnet for students who love computer coding, programming, and information technology. The Krueger School of Applied Technologies (KSAT) gives students the chance to explore their passion for rocketry and robotics.

At Roosevelt High School, your child will excel academically and socially while embracing beloved Rough Rider traditions with memories that will last a lifetime. Your child has the freedom and support to pursue their passions in a variety of programs, organizations, and clubs – from Athletics to JROTC, Band, Dance, PALS, Photography, UIL, and much more. Students in the DATA high school magnet fine-tune their skills in classes like architecture, computer science, and animation. In the Engineering and Technologies Academy (ETA), students expand on their passion for design, rocketry, and engineering.

There’s so much to discover in the Roosevelt cluster. Thank you for choosing NEISD.
