Ms. Kelley

I received a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree and a Master of Science in Educational Administration degree from Baylor University (Sic 'em Bears).  I have been in education since 1991. I began my career in Waco ISD after student teaching there. I was a Dean Highland Dragon for 8 years and taught in a Title 1 reading and math intervention program, music, and both fourth and fifth grades during my time there. Then I became a Program Specialist for Accelerated Instruction in the Waco ISD central office where I worked extensively with district intervention programs, dyslexia, and summer school. After three years in this position, I took a position as an Instructional Specialist at Provident Heights Elementary School where I coached teachers and worked with curriculum and assessment. I spent 9 years as a Provident Heights Panther before I went to be a Waco High Lion serving as a high school assistant principal. In 2014 I relocated to the San Antonio area and taught middle school reading and writing at Ingram Middle School. As a graduate of NEISD's Churchill High School, I am proud to have returned to my home district as a Reading Coach at Wilshire Elementary School.
