Hello Wilshire Wildcat Families!

Welcome to the 2024–2025 school year!

My name is Mrs. Jennifer Rodriguez. 

 A little about me:

• I received my Bachelor of Music from Texas A&M University-Kingsville (Go Javelinas!) in 2012.
• The clarinet is my primary instrument.
• This year is the start of my 11th year teaching elementary music.
• I came to Wilshire for the 2023-2024 school year from San Antonio ISD.
• My husband and I are both music educators (He teaches middle school band).
• We have 2 boys (6 & 11 years of age), 2 cats, a dog, and a bird.
• Along with making music, my family and I enjoy spending time with our family, pets, and video gaming.

In my music class, students will have fun learning music by singing, dancing, playing musical games, playing instruments, and performing!  I teach using various methods that help students succeed and enjoy their musical journey.
