  • What if my dog chews on my book?

    Posted by:

First of all, please know that we understand accidents happen!  If something happens to your book, whether your puppy ate the corner or your juice box exploded on it, just bring the book to the library and let the librarian know.

With damaged books, we will try our best to fix the book before issuing a bill.  If we are not able  to salvage the book, we will issue a bill to cover the replacement cost of a new library-bound copy.

  • What happens if I lose my book?

    Posted by:

Students may not check out additional titles if the overdue book is more than 1 week late.  While we do not charge daily fines for overdues, we will issue a bill for the price of the book (our replacement cost for a library-bound book).  If a lost book is found, we will be able to issue a refund if the book is returned in good condition within the same school year!

Those books can be tricky!  Be sure to look under couches and car seats, on top of counters and personal bookshelves, even in closets!
