Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Kathy Von Buettner. I attended North East schools growing up and graduated from Texas Lutheran University with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have been teaching for 26 years with 21 of those in NEISD. I am super excited to start my third year at Steubing Ranch!  We are going to have a great time in Kindergarten this year!  

Outside of school you can find me hanging out and enjoying time with my family. My husband Kurt and I have two boys, Thomas and Travis.  Our oldest, Thomas, is working on his Masters Program in Psychology at A&M.  His wife is currently working on her Masters at A&M!  Our youngest, Travis, is also at A&M. He is majoring in Environmental Engineering! I anticipate many trips to College Station this year! We also have a dog named Rusty who loves to cuddle with us!
