Welcome to the creative and rigorous world of Gifted and Talented!!!  This will be my seventeenth year teaching, and this will be my second year teaching GT at Northwood. Previously, I taught second and fourth grade at Vineyard Ranch, and I taught third and fourth grade at Hardy Oak Elementary School.  Prior to that, I taught fourth grade in North Carolina.  However, I LOVE teaching our Gifted and Talented children! I love being able to help students reach their full potential and utilize their thinking in new ways. We challenge our thinking to become leaders and innovators in our community. As we say in class, "If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you." So, I'm extremely enthusiastic about working with you and your child! We're going to have a great time learning new concepts. 

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, watching movies, and spending time with my family. I especially love watching my sweet daughter live her best life as I am her chauffer, financer, and biggest supporter of her hobbies. This year we are entering her second year of club volleyball, and I can't wait to see her develop as I cheer from the sidelines. She also enjoys tennis, robotics, and music. I feel very fortunate for the many blessings in my life, but being a mother is the greatest blessing of all.  My life is also sweetened by my sassy cat, Sheba.
