This is going to be a great year with our wonderful students and supportive community! I am thrilled to join our Northwood community.  I look forward to seeing and supporting students and staff daily. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Reading (Go Roadrunners!) and a Master's degree in Counseling from Lamar University. I started teaching in the NEISD in 2001 and have been a Counselor at Encino Park Elementary and Huebner Elementary for the past three years. My goal is to help every child feel like they belong, encourage self-confidence, and promote empathy and kindness. I want every child to reach their full potential and feel safe and happy!
