Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Bulverde Creek! My name is Mrs. Araiza, and this marks my 13th year in the classroom. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies specializing in Early Childhood education. I have taught kindergarten, first, and third grade. In 2013, I was honored to be named Rayburn Elementary Teacher of The Year, and in 2021, was named Bulverde Creek's nominee for the Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching. In addition, I am a Google certified educator and Seesaw Ambassador, where my published activities have reached over 3 million students.

When I am not teaching, I love to ride my bike, read, and build Legos. My husband and I have two daughters (ages 7 and 10) and one rescue dog named Claire Bear. 

Kindergarten is where my heart is, and as a parent myself, I know your pride and joy are entering my classroom each day. I promise to give my very all to teach, inspire, motivate, and encourage your child. I know there will be lots of learning, fun, and excitement this school year, and I look forward to getting to know your family and child. It's going to be a wonderful year!
