They say a picture is worth 1000 words.
Which is great news for Bulverde Creek Elementary School fifth grader Amelia Cramer –because she is a girl of few words. But her art speaks volumes.
Amelia’s impressive drawing featuring a massive dragon surrounded by San Antonio landmarks, just won the District 10 spot in the Texas Cavaliers citywide art contest. Her masterpiece has leapt off the page and is now rolling through the streets of San Antonio on the side of a VIA bus!
But Amelia isn’t just earning citywide recognition—she’s also earned $5,000 for Bulverde Creek’s art program. And if that wasn’t exciting enough, King Antonio himself will be visiting her school to celebrate her achievement.
