I'm from a small town in East Texas called Longview. I moved to San Antonio about 15 years ago and love it. I've been teaching for 22 years. I have taught elementary special education and deaf education, been an itinerant teacher for the hard of hearing, a parent/infant advisor, taught middle school and high school deaf education. This is my third year at ACE and I currently teach English I, English II, Creative Writing, EOC English Prep and ASL I and II. I am also the owner of Chevy, the ACE therapy dog. He is on campus several days a week for the students. Everyone is welcome to visit with Chevy. I'm very happy to be here and help students on their path to graduation and beyond.
