Ms. Michelle Alexander
Hello, I am happy to return to Wilshire Elementary this year and continue to serve as your Math Instructional Coach. Before beginning this new journey in November of 2019, I served the Las Lomas Elementary community as a 4th grade teacher for 6 years.
I am especially proud to be a product of the NEISD family. I attended Coker and Thousand Oaks Elementary, Eisenhower and Bradley Middle School, and graduated from MacArthur High School in 1988. I am thrilled to be a contributing member of the North East ISD team and its tradition of excellence.
I have been an educator for 25 years. Previously, I have worked for Northside ISD, Saint Mary's Hall and Judson ISD. I have served as a classroom teacher for Kindergarten and second through fifth grade students, and an honors math class for fifth grade students. Additionally, I served as a K-12 Campus Instructional Technologist providing staff development and support in the area of technology integration and technology literacy, as well as, technology-based products, content area curriculum support, and campus technology planning and evaluation. I have provided staff development at the campus level, for the district, as well as presenting at a state technology conference.
I consider it my privilege to support teachers and students. I look forward to supporting teachers' efforts with planning math lessons to engage all learners and partnering with families to instill a love of learning and enthusiasm for school in our students. I'm looking forward to working closely with you as we partner together to make this a memorable and EXTRAORDINARY year! Together we are stronger!
