Welcome to my page!

Hi! My name is Daniela Romo, and I teach 5th grade dual language Reading. I am from Houston, Texas, and moved to San Antonio in 2007. I began my teaching career here at East Terrell Hills as a student teacher in 2013, and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Bilingual Education EC-6  in 2014. I have been teaching at E.T.H. for 9 years. I have been married for 9 years as well, and I have a 4-year-old son who is just starting his educational journey in a bilingual program. I am a product of a bilingual program, and I feel very fortunate and privileged to be a bilingual teacher. I am an advocate for bilingual education, and am very passionate about building relationships, motivating, and guiding every student to success!
