Hello, I am Christie Busenlehner.  I have taught for 8 years. 6 of the years I have been here at NEISD.  I have taught all three levels of education.  Back in the old days, I was a junior high coach for volleyball, basketball, and track. I have 2 boys. Carter will be a sophomore in high school. He plays football and soccer at Johnson. My oldest son will be a freshman at Texas A&M Galveston. He is going to school to attain a degree in Marine Transportation. He plans to be a ship captain. He will also be part of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets.  My favorite in house is my doggie Cooper. I love that foxy red labrador. He is my baby. My husband, Brian and I have been married for 22 years. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University. I have a degree in Speech Communications. I attended UTSA to receive my teaching certificate. I am a proud Aggie. I wear my maroon as often as I can.

My hobbies are shopping, hiking, and watching my boys play the sports they love.  I also enjoy being outdoors doing a variety of activities. Fishing is probably one of my favorite outdoor activites, but frisbee golf and pickle ball are pretty high up there as well.
