I graduated from Northside Health Careers High School in San Antonio, Texas.  I received a B.A. in Classics from the University of Texas at Austin.  I taught for ten years in Northside ISD in a variety of subjects: Latin, English, and finally as the Gifted and Talented coordinator of Brandeis High School.  I was so pleased to come to Reagan High School in 2011.  I have taught at Reagan for eight years, and I truly love working here.  We have an incredible JCL Latin Club chapter. Through my sponsorship of the Reagan JCL I have been able to host three Area B competitions on the Reagan campus three times in my tenure here, as well as assisting in hosting the NJCL Convention at Trinity University in 2014, and have coached Area, State, and National Certamen teams. 

This is such an exciting time for the Latin teaching and learning community! So many teachers are creating exciting new content, stories, and activities to revitalize the study of Classical Languages. I am so privileged to be a part of your child's education and giving them Latin as a foundation to their future success! 

I have a wonderful husband, three amazing children, and a very poorly-behaved pug. In my spare time I enjoy music, learning languages, crochet, reading, cooking, and fishing.
