Welcome!  I am so happy to be your child’s Dyslexia Interventionist.  I look forward to getting to know you and your child this year.

This is my 19^th year as an educator and my 9th year here at Woodstone Elementary. I have been married for 21 years, and I have 3 children. As if three children are not enough, we also have a cat, a tortoise, two dogs, and a hedgehog. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, gardening, and spending time with my family.

I am a graduate of St. Mary's University and I have taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. For the last two years,  I have been blessed with an amazing opportunity to help students with dyslexia. I am currently in my last year of training in the Take Flight Dyslexia curriculum. Once my training and therapy hours are complete, I will be working to become a certified academic language practitioner (CALP).
