Welcome to 1st grade!  My name is Melissa Hernandez and this is my 15th year at Woodstone!  I taught three years at a private school before coming to Woodstone.  I graduated from the University of Incarnate Word with a degree in Elementary Education.  I enjoy working and helping kids grow!  Communicating with parents is very important to me. Let's work together to help your child succeed!

 My hobbies are reading and scrapbooking.  More than anything, I want to have the best readers in the school! Please read with your kids at home, they need your help too!  I enjoy working with children and hope we have a wonderful year!
