Barbra Purcell

My name is Barbra Purcell.  I have had the blessing of being an Early Childhood Teacher for 26 years.  I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, PPCD, and I am currently the Pre-K/ECSE teacher at Woodstone Elementary.

I have a passion for teaching three and four year olds. I feel honored to be their teacher to help them fulfill their greatest potential. I graduated from Southwest Texas University, which is now Texas State, but it will always be SWT to me. I have my degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education.  I also have certifications in Early Childhood and English as a Second Language. I am married to an educator in NEISD and have two daughters who attend Texas Tech and the University of Texas in Austin. I enjoy tennis, pickle ball, going to church, and hanging out with my family and dogs.
