• We would like all of our students to enjoy the 360-degree experience while attending Lopez. We do this by providing a welcoming atmosphere where students can explore and participate in meaningful, enriching extracurricular activities in addition to challenging coursework.

With well over 20 clubs and organizations, Lopez offers students and their parents many opportunities to enjoy our community and its diverse interests.

Art Club

The art Club at Lopez Middle offers art related activities to Lopez students who desire to serve others via their art. The art club/honor society participates in studio- service oriented activities with guided instruction and goals. Membership is open to all Lopez MS students in good academic standing and behavior. Those who are currently enrolled in art and in good standing in art are encouraged and welcome to be inducted into the National Art Honor Society.

Lone Star Book Club - Library

If you love to read, this is the club for you! We use the Lone Star Book List as our guide. The great thing about our book club is that not everyone is reading the same book at the same time. We are all reading a book on the Lone Star list, but students are able to read at their own pace and interest. When we meet, we talk about which Lone Star book we are reading at the moment and it creates interest in those books and students commonly swap books for the next month. We even want to hear about
